About Sam

Sheriff Sam Page has spent over four decades in law enforcement, serving as Rockingham County Sheriff since 1998. A proven conservative leader, he has fought to keep communities safe, defend the Constitution, and uphold North Carolina values.

A passionate supporter of President Trump, Sam led Sheriffs for Trump in 2016 and was the President’s N.C. Campaign Chair in 2020.

Sam isn’t a career politician—he’s a fighter for the people who will take on the Raleigh establishment and bring real conservative leadership to the state Senate.

Platform

  • North Carolina’s justice system is failing victims and their families. Too many violent criminals escape the full punishment they deserve because of endless legal delays and weak policies. Sheriff Page will work to:

    • Strengthen penalties for violent offenders

    • Push to restart the death penalty so victims’ families are not left waiting for justice

    • Give law enforcement and prosecutors the tools they need to keep dangerous criminals off our streets

  • Every child deserves access to a high-quality education. As your next State Senator, Sheriff Page will fight to:

    • Raise teacher starting pay to $50,000 to keep North Carolina competitive

    • Provide additional incentives and pay increases to teachers in order to retain top talent

    • Allow smart, accountable school choice with commonsense guardrails to ensure it works for all families, not just the wealthy or lucky few

    • Implement policies to prevent private schools from inflating tuition due to school choice vouchers

    • Supports repealing the legislative public records exemption Phil Berger passed so lawmakers aren’t shielded from public scrutiny

    • Believes North Carolinians deserve to know what their elected officials are doing behind closed doors

    • Supports term limits for legislative leadership to ensure new conservative leaders have a seat at the table

  • Sheriff Page supports President Trump’s plan to cut taxes on overtime pay and tips and wants to do the same at the state level.

    • Stop taxing overtime pay and tipped wages

    • Make North Carolina more affordable for working families

    • Ensure tax relief benefits those who work the hardest
